Dear all,

By this email, I would like to cast a vote of the PSC to add Daniel McInerney as a new committer to OTB.

Daniel McInerney [1] is a researcher working for Coillte Teoranta – the Irish State Forestry Board and a user of OTB for a long time. He was furthermore the co-author of a book on Open-Source Geospatial Tools published by Springer-Verlag in 2015 with a chapter about OTB.

He would like to join the team and contribute to the library starting by the documentation.

He has started today during the FOSS4G code sprint by submitting a first PR today on GitHub with valuable improvements to the cookbook:
